Incredibly fine example of a Californian GSM. The colour is bright ruby red with a touch of brick orange on the rim. The nose bursts with notes of cranberry, cherry and pepper from the Syrah and savoury notes of herbs and tobacco from the Mourvedre all propped up with a fresh and bright acidity from the Grenache. The palate is medium to full bodied and intense, displaying a deep and complex balance of summer berries and savoury spices. The finish is smooth and balanced with fine tannins that offer complexity. A truly wonderful wine.
